Darul Arqum Islamic Center was founded in 2001.The center is committed to providing community members with the resources and support they need to live their lives according to Islamic principles, and aims to help non-Muslims and those interested in learning about Islam answers to their questions
Darul Arqum Islamic Center offers a variety of programs and services, including:
Five daily prayers
Jummah prayer on Fridays
Islamic classes for children and adults
A library with books on Islam and other topics
A community hall that can be used for events and gatherings
DAIC is run by a board of directors (BoD) and a board of trustees (BoT). The board of directors is responsible for the overall management of the center, while the board of trustees is responsible for overseeing the center's finances and assets.
Imam
An imam is the religious leader of a mosque. Ours, Imam Noureldin Qinawi, studied at Al Azhar University, one of the oldest institutions of higher learning in the world, and previously served as the imam of ICCNY in Stamford, Connecticut.

About Darul Arqum Islamic Center's Formation of Members of Board of Directors and Board of Trustees
The members of the board of directors of Darul Arqum Islamic Center are elected on the General Assembly elections that occurs on the end of September each year. The members of the board of trustees are elected on the General Assembly elections that occurs on the end of September every two years. The board of directors is responsible for the overall management of the center, including setting the center's strategic direction, developing and implementing its programs and services, and overseeing its financial and administrative operations. The board of trustees is responsible for overseeing the center's finances and assets, ensuring that they are used in accordance with the center's mission and bylaws.
The members of the board of directors and board of trustees are all volunteers who are passionate about Darul Arqum Islamic Center and its mission to serve the Muslim community. They bring a wide range of skills and experience to their roles, and they are committed to working together to make the center a vibrant and welcoming place for all Muslims. The board of directors and board of trustees are essential to the success of Darul Arqum Islamic Center. They provide the leadership and guidance that the center needs to fulfill its mission and serve the Muslim community.
